Full or Part-Time (Weekends Only) Retail Specialist

Eco-friendly lifestyle store in Greenpoint - Williamsburg, Brooklyn offering products and classes for pregnancy, and parenting is looking for Retail Specialists.

Our ideal person brings a passion for helping others with warmth, empathy and a smile.  She is organized, proactive and resourceful.

Must Haves

• Manage multiple tasks, while maintaining a calm self, positive energy and good sense of humor to ensure a quality customer experience in the store, over the phone or over email.
• Listen to and be sensitive of customer’s needs while helping them learn about, try on and choose products that are right for them.
• Ability and willingness to learn new computer applications. Comfort with Excel or Google Docs a big plus.
• Personal experience with babywearing, cloth diapering, breast pumps and natural remedies is preferred.  Please indicate background and interest in these areas in your cover letter.
  
• Retail experience.
